I have been interested in playing board and card games and solving puzzles since quite young but only recently had the time to seriously indulge this hobby. I created my first board game Driller Thriller in the late 90’s as therapy for losing my job in the oil industry but also because it was a very interesting field full of futuristic technology and exploring far flung areas of the planet for a precious commodity that keeps the wheels of industry turning  and that lends itself to summarising in the form of a board game. Unfortunately, I did not have the resources after the invention part to manufacture the units needed to make a board game sell via games distributors ( a topic I will return to in the near future for discussion in my Blog) . However, recently I have revisited this invention and made innovations that have improved the original concept and plan to look for partners to deliver it to the gaming world as a board game or game app or both. Watch this space gamers!

After my experience creating a board game and issues with the world of manufacturing units I decided to approach my next invention in the form of a game app – where manufacturing physical units was a problem I could circumvent.  SumW0rdZ was created as a result. So here goes! It is a fun, rewarding and challenging educational game app that combines calculating numbers attached to the letters forming each word. Some information about the words (covering many topics) are revealed in the form of bite-size pieces of general knowledge.  Your numerical skills will improve whatever your level of experience.  Also familiarity with the words will in time improve your spelling.. Give it a try – be amazed and learn from your mistakes. How many games can say that!

I have a number of other exciting game apps in the ‘pipeline’ that you can look forward to. I pride myself that you will learn something new – or get better at something old – along the way from my games. They are not just there to fill a void and pass the time!

In the near future, the plan is to convert to SumW0rdZ to the Android platform so all you gamers can join the Party and get calculating those Words. Watch this space you would-be SumW0rdZ Surfers!
